My very dear friend, Ben Bedford, recently released his sophomore studio album titled, “Land of the Shadows.”
Land of the Shadows is the follow-up album to the much acclaimed “Lincoln’s Man,” which officially put Ben on the map. The new album hit #1 on the Folk DJ charts for the month of January. Additionally, Ben was the #1 artist and had the #1 song for the same time period.
Today, I’d like to take a moment to reflect upon the life of Lucky the Fish. While he will certainly be happy again when he reaches fish heaven and lives with Marlond again, he was among my closest of friends. A good fish that always ate when I fed him, Lucky was more than a fish, he was a personal hero.
This morning, my good friend Wesley Joseph turned me on to what may be one of the coolest things I’ve found on the internet in quite a while. And did I mention it’s free?

At some point during my freshman year of college, Dance Dance Revolution became an overnight craze that swept through young kids like wildfire. I never really cared for it all that much, but I did play a flash-based version of it in my dorm on the computer called “Flash Flash Revolution.”
In this game you basically pressed the corresponding arrow key to match the moving symbol just like DDR. I was much better at this than the version using your legs and considerably less ridiculous looking.
Oh my God! You guys! You guys! South Park Season 12 is out on DVD and Blue Ray this coming Tuesday, March 10th. Two of my favorite episodes, Major Boobage and Over Logging, are both included in this season’s release.
