Sweet blog post… I love coming to your website for the reason that you guys usually write well written posts about computers and new technology. I enjoyed it once again. I think I shall subscribe to this feed. I plan to bookmark this blog. Thanks again PS: I intrigued by sports cars in 2011….

Hi, Love the tank and the efforts put behind it. I was in Petco and the guy there said the filter on the Flavia is not strong enough to the proper level of bactiria in the water. Have you experienced any problems with fish dying or not looking healthy? Also, would you be so kind to let me know exactly where to go for those Led strips?

    Thank you,

    Dennis

Anyone know the Long term effects on the fish with the Led ?? Wonder too on the longevity of the fish subjected too this. Do you have a problem with your Fish since your lighting change?

where did you get the 2 led stripes and the 2 led bulbs set up at? and did you put any more filteration pumps besides what came with the tank?

LED strips such as that any many others are available very cheap on Ebay, mostly shipped direct from Hong Kong and China. I have some that are working great.

    Hey… your awesome.

I just got the Edge and over course the lights suck!

Can you tell me exactly what lights you got – I know there MR11’s and I can count 12 LED’s. The question is are these 12 volts and do they just plug in where the originals go.

Also, for the LED strips, where did you get them.

    I’d really appreicate your help.

I also plan on switching to marine. Sick of fresh water and my over sized gold fish. Had marine before I moved and miss it very much.

    Paul.

Where did you get you led stripes from and led bulbs? Also, do you have a nano skimmer? Finally, what did you do for your filter system?

    Hello,
You have a beautiful Edge! I just ordered 2 led G4 bulbs off of Ebay, but the bases to the bulbs are slightly different than the ones currently in the Edge. Did you have to modify the bases? If so, how? The bases seem to be thicker in diameter than the ones currently in the Edge. Thanks!

Would you be interested in selling a setup like this?

I have the fluvsl edge buy the extent of my creativity is non-existent compared to this :)

I was interested in establishing a salt tank in my home, so I started the research and after I decided on the Fluval Edge I ran across your video on the web. I have to say that I am extremely impressed… BTW, I ordered mine from Petco for 109.00. It will be here in a few days – I cant wait…

My question is… Could you give me a step by step / play by play of your process to set-up. Also, what did you learn and how would this change the process.

    Thanks,

    Gianni in Hawaii

Wow! Now thats a nice tank! I have a freshwater edge set up but after seeing your saltwater setup u inspired me to get another one. Can you send me a list of everything that I will need to do the saltwater setup that you have as far as lighting, pumps & ect. & where I can order it from? It would be greatly aprecheateted. How much do you think it will cost me for the equipment not counting the tank or fish just equipment.
    Thank you, Kris Durel
